Different Sources Of Part-time Income
You probably have a full-time job. You get a salary, so you should be able to budget and pay the monthly bills. Truth is, with rising prices and salaries not keeping up, it is getting harder and harder to make ends meet. You might not be able to get a part-time job where you have to leave home because you have a small child to look after. The ideal is to get a part-time job that you can do from home. You have no doubt heard people talking about how to make money blogging. Maybe a friend design tattoos for extra money. You could try your hand at selling something from home, like hp laptop skins.
All of those will probably bring in at least some money. Whether that will justify the time you invested in it, only time will tell. Something that has become extremely popular and the chose way for many people to earn money from home is Google Adsense. This is a very simple program: you sign up, Google gives you some code to enter into your website HTML and every time a visitor clicks on one or more of the ads Google display on your website, you get part of the income.
Even if you don’t know how to do websites you can still do this. Many article websites will give you 50% of the income they generate from Google ads if you write articles for them.
A very important warning: Never even think of clicking on your own ads. Google has several ways to track you down – and they will close your account if they catch you out. One of those ways is monitoring your IP number. Click-fraud is the quickest way to get your Adsense account closed down – so don’t get your friends to click on the ads either!
The difficult part is to get visitors to your blog, website or article. Historical results show that if you get 100 visitors to your page, on average not more of 5 of them will click on an ad. If you can therefore get 1000 visitors, you might get 50 clicks…. And so on.
You could spend money advertising the site, but if you don’t have that option then start by telling your friends. Get them to visit and leave a comment. Ask them to invite their friends as well. If your content is interesting enough, you could soon have a lot of visitors.
It’s not only blogs that can be used to display Adsense ads of course: you can display them on any website meeting Google’s requirements. The secret is to find a niche subject to build a blog or website around. It’s no use trying to compete directly with one of the established sites out there – you have to find your own little corner of the web, something you know better than anyone else and around which you can build an interesting and entertaining blog or website.
