Article Marketing definitely works as a way of generating MLM leads. Many people are diving into the strategy of writing articles for lead generation, unfortunately. What makes me say unfortunately? You see, so many people read about writing articles, and think it will be so simple for them to generate loads of traffic this way. Sadly, this is unlikely. If you are going to use Article Marketing as a method of lead generation for your MLM business, be prepared to put in some hard work.

It is certainly not a way to get rich quick! Article Marketing is one of the main methods of lead generation used by people who start out with little or no cash with which to advertise their home business. Anyone who want quick methods of marketing their business online, needs plenty of cash so they can invest in pay-per-click lead generation. To market your MLM business online, you need plenty of time, or plenty of cash. If you use the ‘time’ method, be ready for some hard work. And be consistent.

You also need to do more than just write an article. That is only the very first part. Once it is written, you need to make sure people can find it. It needs to be linked to across the internet so the search engines can rate it well. First of all it needs to be published on your blog, or other main website. Then you could do a video to promote it even more, linking back to your blog.

From there you should bookmark it, using social bookmarking. The best way I know of doing this is to use the Onlywire service, which is free and takes only a minute to post. The first time you set it up, this will take an hour or two, as you have to open accounts with the 30 or more sites that you will be bookmarking your article with. In future, for each article you write, you simply click on the icon on your browser, or click on the plug-in on your Wordpress blog and your article willgo out to over 30 social bookmarking sites, including Facebook and Twitter!

After that you need to post your article in as many directories as you can. Some people use an article submitter for this, and they certainly save you alot of time. The one I use is called Automatic Article Submitter. This spins my articles. This involves writing an alternative sentence for each sentence I write. My article submitter then spins all the sentences to make lots of different articles. In this way you are really be making the most out of every article you write. As the name implies, it also submits my content to loads of different directories!

So if you are still interested in writing articles, make sure you realise that you will need to be persistent and consistent in wriitng these articles. It will certainly take some time until you see a difference in the number of people going to your sites. You need to build momentum. Dont stop until the results come. You need to keep on and on churning out your articles and doing everything else that I have said, and slowly the trickle of leads you were getting will build up to a wonderful solid flow!
